INSIDER TELLS ALL : INSIDER INFORMATION ABOUT DOCTORS AND THE PRACTISE OF MEDICINE
“(1) not everything we count, counts; (2) not everything that counts can be counted.”
- Dr Stephen Ross JAMA 1966
Welcome to my world. In this section of the site you'll get an inside glimpse into the fascinating world of doctors and doctoring. I love vicariously looking into other fields and what others learn from their work especially through Youtube. Don't' forget to also check out my contribution to the follow-me-to-work-day space at Youtube.com/doctorsecrets
I hope to provide an unfiltered experience for you, chock full of juicy titbits on me and my colleagues and what we do and feel on the front line of medicine each day.
Please note that my articles are opinion pieces and biased towards my specialty of Family Medicine. Some topics have no statistics to draw from and have never been scrutinized by formal measurement. For these I provide anecdotal evidence from the experiences I have witnessed. That's why much of it you'll read here first while the supporting stats and venture to public print will lag. You read it here first. Bon appetit!
