High Blood Pressure Cause
Blood pressure is measured as two numbers - a systolic and diastolic. Systolic blood pressure is the pressure of blood in your blood vessels at heart contraction. Diastolic blood pressure is the pressure when the heart relaxes between beats. A normal blood pressure is anything less than 140/90 (the higher number is the systolic). In 5% of cases high blood pressure is caused by kidney disease, structural problems with blood vessels and disorders in the regulation of hormones which regulate blood pressure. Next!
