Eye Strain

eye strain

Your eyes rely on muscles to move around and see, and these muscles can get tired and strained like any other muscle in your body.

EYE STRAIN also tends to occur more often as you get older.

Eye strain symptoms are the familiar aching and blurring of vision during fine close up work.

But here's some tricks to Cure Eye Strain:

  • When doing fine or close up work like at a computer or reading, take a break every 30 minutes for a minute or two and change your focus by looking out into the distance.
  • Try a screen glare guard for your monitor and try changing your screen display settings to make text larger.
  • Get your eyes checked periodically by an optician. Fading vision is a normal part of getting older and can lead to eye strain.
  • When surfing the net, try changing your browser text size 'View>Text size>Larger'.
  • Check the lighting in your home. Maybe it's too dull at night. Read under good lighting and with space between yourself and the reading material.

If your eyes feel strained right now maybe you need to take a rest from your computer and reading until tomorrow. We'll still be here :)
